PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Talent & Development Specialist is responsible for supporting the Talent Director with the organization's learning and development strategy across GDELS. The role is primarily focused on the coordination, administration, and continuous improvement of training and development programs, learning initiatives, and digital learning platforms, while delivering selected talent acquisition activities.
The specialist partners directly with the Director of Talent and works closely with European HR teams, GDELS leaders, and external providers to ensure the successful delivery of learning and development solutions that support organizational capability building and employees development.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

  • Coordinate and deploy training and development programs, projects, and development initiatives across Headquarters and other GDELS sites, including knowledge and skills training and development projects involving employees from different GDELS locations.
  • Manage compliance-related learning activities, including the administration and monitoring of online courses through digital platforms and Learning Management Systems (LMS), ensuring data accuracy, compliance, tracking, and reporting, while maintaining regular interaction and service with Site HR teams.
  • Coordinate learner communications, registrations, logistics, reporting, and training records.
  • Monitor training completion rates, participation metrics, learning effectiveness, and KPIs, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Curate external learning resources and manage relationships with training providers and vendors, following up on alignment with approved budgets and appropriate vendor invoicing.
  • Support the Director Talent in the coordination of the annual performance process.
  • Manage recruitment processes for specialist, technical, and selected professional positions, coordinating interviews and maintaining regular communication with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Conduct CV screening, candidate assessments, and initial interviews, proactively sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, other job boards and GDELS Career Site

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE   

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in Human Resources.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in Learning & Development and Training Administration, with exposure to Talent Acquisition activities in international consulting firms or multinational organizations, with multinational experience being a must.
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders across different countries and functions.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating corporate training plans, learning programs, and development initiatives.
  • Strong experience administering Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms, and hands-on experience using LinkedIn, job boards, ATS platforms, and company career sites.
  • Experience managing training vendors, online learning solutions, and learning analytics

  • Proficient in English (C1 level required), with proven experience working in English as the primary business language.
